Riverview—1 July 6, 2026 —1 The Riverview City Council adopted Ordinance 7-57 on second reading to regulate open burning within city limits.
The ordinance, added as section 38-129 to Chapter 38 of the Riverview Code, was presented by the clerk by title only. Councilman Webb moved adoption; Councilman Pray supported the motion. The council recorded affirmative votes from Mayor Swift and council members Clark, O'Neil, Pray, Webb and Williams; Councilman Gagnaga was excused. The ordinance was approved by roll call.
