"I'm Cheryl Hires," she said, and described her role as a "circuit rider" who provides a range of support "all trades" on grants and related projects.
Commissioners welcomed Hires and said they look forward to working with her on grant applications and post-award administration. The chair told Hires the town is "excited to see what you can offer and help us figure with." Hires replied she was "looking forward to diving in."
The introduction concluded with routine greetings and brief remarks from commissioners noting Hires' prior work with Crystal-area organizations and expressing hope that her presence will help the town secure funding and manage awarded grants.
