EMS and lease matters: Commissioners approved staff authorization to execute correspondence confirming EMS’s governmental-entity status under IRC §170(c)(1) to help secure vendor grants. They also approved a lease with Montgomery Township Fire District for EMS ambulance base space (proposed $500/month) subject to attorney-requested modifications including a time-limited (annual) renewal provision.
Personnel items: The board approved a medical-leave request and approved a motion to align holiday pay for community corrections with other public-safety employees, retroactive to July 1, 2026.
