Mayor Josh Simpson opened a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Ordinance 2026-01, a proposal to annex property owned by Robert H. Reid & Jane M. Reid Trustee located on Duncan Reidville Road (tax map parcel #5-36-00-028.25) and assign it an AF (agriculture forest) zoning classification.
The measure, presented during the town meeting held at Reidville Presbyterian Church, cites S.C. Code Section 5-3-150(3) and seeks annexation via a one-hundred-percent petition method. Town Administrator Christine McKaba conducted roll call; Mayor Josh Simpson, Mayor Pro Tem Bob Jordan, Councilmembers James Richard and Amy Gore were present.
