The Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to accept settlement agreements in pending roof litigation and authorized the superintendent to negotiate and execute the agreements with the listed insurers.
A trustee moved that the board accept settlement for the roof litigation with Everest Indemnity Insurance Company, Landmark American Insurance Company, Falls Lake Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, Canopius Syndicate Underwriters at Lloyds London, and Maximum Indemnity Company, and to authorize the superintendent to negotiate and execute the agreements. The motion was seconded and passed by a show of hands with no opposition.
The board recorded the approval as unanimous, 5-0, and adjourned the meeting thereafter.
