Dr. Anderson identified the demolition contractor as Construction Consultants and clarified that the vendor is separate from the district’s architect contract.
Trustees asked follow-up questions about the contractor and scope before a motion to approve the district construction purchase (the change order) was moved and seconded. The presiding officer called for a show-of-hands vote and recorded the motion as carrying unanimously, 5-0.
The board then recessed to an executive session later in the agenda; the change-order approval authorizes staff to proceed with the demolition work as presented.
