Council approves amendment removing easement in Harvest Pointe development

City Manager Tom Hanson told the council the development agreement had been approved at the prior meeting but, upon closing, Mr. Matt McConkee acquired ownership of a portion of the property referenced in the original agreement. Hanson said the amendment was drafted to reflect that ownership change and deletes the easement paragraph for public pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Council Member Michael Thomas moved to approve Motion/Ordinance 26-03 and Council Member Cheryl Parkinson seconded. The council approved the amendment by unanimous recorded tally (3-0).
The minutes record that the amendment applies to an in-fill development at 445 East and 510 South and that the edited development agreement was brought back to council with the easement paragraph deleted to reflect the change in ownership.
