River Ridge CDD adopts amended FY2024/25 budget

The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Aug. 27 to adopt Resolution 2024-07, approving annual appropriations and the fiscal year 2024/25 budget as amended.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the budget included errors in the published agenda; staff corrected scrivener items, including a line-item description for street sweeping that had been flagged by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal. Mrs. Adams opened the required public hearing; no affected property owners spoke.
On a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Supervisor Robert Twombly, the board adopted the resolution "as amended," authorizing the budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2024 and ending Sept. 30, 2025. The motion carried with all present voting in favor.
The action follows routine budget review steps required by the district; the record shows staff will continue to reconcile outstanding items related to the 2022A and 2022B notes in future reports. The board did not take any additional budget amendments at the meeting.
The next regularly scheduled River Ridge CDD meeting is Sept. 4, 2024, when staff expected to present any follow-up financial reconciliations.
