Board approves Honey Coffee conditional use permit for Brentwood Promenade Court

On first reading and subsequent action the Board moved to proceed: Alderwoman Sunny Sims moved for a second reading and Alderwoman Sharon Harter seconded. Later, Alderwoman Nancy Parker Tice moved and Alderwoman Michele Goad seconded a motion to perfect Bill #6593 into ordinance form. The Board approved by roll call, with Alderman Sullivan Erger recorded as absent; the ordinance was recorded as Ordinance #5217.
The ordinance and site development plan authorize Honey Coffee to operate a restaurant with carry-out at the listed address in the PD-Planned Development Overlay District. Planning Director Kelly confirmed no exterior modifications or site changes were proposed with this application; the conditional use permit applies to restaurant use under Section 400.1380(C)(5), which lists restaurants as a conditional use within the zoning overlay.
