Dan said an electrician ordered a special cabinet for Manchester Road; the custom unit is expected around May and, until then, six adjacent lights will not be functional. Crews removed a leaning light near a self-storage site and ordered a replacement post and base components.
Staff reported that equipment for a McKnight Road crosswalk pilot92including lights, a new push button and rapid-flash beacons92has been received and is stored with the vendor; the city is scheduling installation and will advertise once a date is set. Dan also said sidewalk-cutting work in Brentwood Forest is complete and comes with a three-year warranty to remedy lifting joints within tolerance.
Finally, Dan said he is preparing documentation to request a 'no right on red' (Table 7A) sign at Eulalia and Brentwood Boulevard; the sign must be posted on a county mast arm, so the city needs to coordinate with county authorities.
