Chair announces Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District budget approved; trustees Bernstein and Lieberman re-elected

The Chair announced that voters approved the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District Proposition 1 (school budget) on May 19, with 1,619 votes in favor and 602 opposed, a 72.9% yes share. Proposition 2, authorizing use of the capital reserve fund, passed with 1,768 yes and 453 no votes (79.6%).

The results also reported the school board trustee totals: Debbie Bernstein received 1,648 votes and Ginger Lieberman received 1,460 votes; there were 72 write-ins.
