Public commenter Jennifer Howell said she had a pipe bust at her house and her brother fixed the leak, but she was unable to obtain a bill credit under the town’s policy. Administrator Erin Braband provided account information and explained the town’s billing policy to the council.
Commissioner Michael Sullivan moved to adjust the sewer portion of Howell’s bill using the town’s established formula and to create a three-month payment plan; Commissioner Walter Chase seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
Council did not specify the adjusted dollar amount in the meeting; the adjustment will be applied per policy and the town clerk’s records will reflect the billing change.
