Town Manager Tomas Goode reported a July average discharge of 1.4278 million gallons per day in a standing update to the Sonoita Creek Flood and Flow Study Committee. The minutes note that Ron (South32) was unavailable to present a report.
Chris Gardner summarized coordination on a Friends of Sonoita Creek well-monitoring program and noted that the Town and South32 are considering a cooperative data-exchange arrangement. The transcript records that Tomas had no S32 well data available for the meeting and that water levels at Town wells were unavailable at the time of the agenda entry.
Other monitoring items — including southwest rainfall/runoff monitoring — were listed on the agenda but were tabled or had no current report. Committee members did not take formal action on monitoring program items during this meeting; trustees were encouraged to continue coordination and to provide data as it becomes available.
Procedural business at the start and end of the meeting included a motion by Kathy Pasierb to approve the June 19, 2025 minutes, seconded by Chris Gardner, and a motion to adjourn at 11:10 a.m. by Kathy Pasierb, seconded by Aaron Mrotek. The transcript records the motions and seconds but does not include vote tallies.
