The Little Miami Local Board of Education voted on July 7 to enter an executive session to consult with its attorney about pending or imminent court action.
The chair moved that the board go into executive session for the purpose of conference with the public body's attorney concerning pending or imminent court action, citing the Revised Code (the meeting referenced section 121.22). A motion to enter executive session was moved and seconded and the board voted to proceed into closed session.
Before recessing, the chair said the board did not anticipate any decision coming out of the executive session. The chair also confirmed the next regular meeting date as July 22.
The board did not discuss details of the legal matter in open session; the motion cited the Revised Code as the legal authority for a closed attorney consultation.
