At its July 7 meeting, the Bridgton Planning Board approved findings of fact and conclusions of law for the North Star Estates subdivision with a specific change: the board required that stormwater buffers on Lots 23 and 4 remain undisturbed and meet the buffer requirements of section 6-7(b) of the town subdivision ordinance.
A board member read the change into the record: “Stormwater buffers on Lots 23 and 4 must be undisturbed and meet buffer requirements of 6-7(b),” after which the motion to approve findings (moved by Miss Cook and seconded by Mr. Maxon) carried. The board also confirmed height limits referenced in the submitted materials: principal structures in the rural neighborhood are limited to 35 feet, and accessory structures have the same maximum height.
Members signed the findings and arranged for clerical completion; the board indicated the change will be reflected on the final documents.
Next steps: applicants will proceed to finalize maps and satisfy the small clerical and staking details flagged by staff before recording.
