The Town Board of Little Falls scheduled a public hearing on the 2026 Preliminary Budget for Nov. 11, 2025 immediately following a public hearing on the proposed one-year solar moratorium. The board directed the Town Clerk to publish notice of the budget hearing in the Times Telegram.
Separately, the board voted to change the monthly meeting time from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the months of November through March. That change was approved by roll call with all five members voting in favor.
During the meeting the board recessed at 8:35 p.m. to audit bills and resumed at 8:50 p.m.; it approved payment of General Bills #103–104 totaling $689.06 and Highway Bills #142–151 totaling $25,071.76 by roll call vote with all members recorded as voting aye. Supervisor Dan Casler also reported that Court Clerk Soules has filed a JCAP grant application for approximately $2,700 to purchase court computer upgrades, and Clerk Regan noted the Planning Board will meet to consider ARC Herkimer’s Event Center Project.
Next step: The public hearings on Local Law #4-2025 (solar moratorium) and the 2026 Preliminary Budget will be held Nov. 11 at 6:00 p.m.; the board’s next regular meeting will be convened immediately after those hearings.
