Board reviews zoning complaints on Wyatt, Keesey and Lang roads; building inspector to send noncompliance letters
Summary
Supervisors raised setback and permit issues: a potential 115-foot vacation on Wyatt Road to enable construction, a 16.5-foot boundary dispute on Keesey Road deemed a court matter, and a Lang Road shed built inside a setback; the clerk was asked to have the building inspector send enforcement letters.

Zoning and property-boundary problems on several town roads were discussed at the April 21 Town of Spring Valley meeting.
During the supervisors’ reports, the board noted multiple zoning matters: possible vacations and setback adjustments on Wyatt Road to allow a landowner to build, a 16.5-foot boundary dispute on Keesey Road that the chair said is a matter for the courts, and a shed on Lang Road (Mersbergers) constructed within the setback. The town’s building inspector will send a noncompliance and fees letter to a party on County T who has not applied for a permit, and Clerk Dela Ends was asked to have Mark (the building inspector) send a letter to the Mersbergers to begin resolution.
Chairman Steve Hazeltine indicated that the Keesey Road dispute is not a town zoning matter and will need to be settled in court. The board did not take formal enforcement votes at the meeting beyond directing the clerk and building inspector to issue notices.
