He said the grant is a 50/50 match and the city's initial estimated share is approximately $22,000; expenses for public education about the program were described as not eligible under the grant and would require separate funding.
Council approved the motion (Dunn/Oja) to submit the grant application and adopt RES 25-11. Next steps include submitting the application and, if awarded, developing a schedule for treatments and removals.
