Town of Gay sets public hearing, called meeting to set 2025 millage rate

He told the council the digest must be submitted by Sept. 1 and scheduled a public hearing on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6:00 p.m., followed by a called meeting the same day at 6:30 p.m. to set and vote on the rate.
The council did not vote to set the rate at the Aug. 11 meeting; the public hearing and the called meeting on Aug. 28 are the next formal steps for adopting the 2025 rate.
