Following advice from Town Attorney Nicholas Macri, the board approved Resolution #60, authorizing the clerk to send the letter only after confirmation that the required insurance naming the town as additional insured is in place. The resolution passed unanimously.
The action clears one administrative step for event hosts but conditions serve as the town’s insurance protection requirement before the clerk submits formal notice to the liquor authority.
