At its July 8 meeting the Town Board of Little Falls approved the Supervisor’s Monthly Financial Report and authorized payment of two sets of bills. Resolution #59 to accept the supervisor’s report passed with Supervisor Dan Casler and Councilmen Kirk Schwasnick and Kevin Sullivan voting aye and Councilman Mitch Soules voting no; Soules said the report was incomplete.
The board approved payment of General Bills #72–79 totaling $3,472.88 under Resolution #62 and Highway Bills #102–111 totaling $71,756.11 under Resolution #63. Those payments were adopted unanimously. Combined, the two bill approvals equal $75,228.99.
Supervisor Casler reported he renewed the Newville Decommissioning certificate of deposit with Adirondack Bank at an interest rate recorded in the minutes as 4.1000 (noted here as 4.10%). He also reported receipt of CHIPS funds; the minutes list the amount as "$66.939" and that entry appears to be a formatting error in the record (the likely intended amount is $66,939). The board recessed at 8:15 p.m. to audit bills and reconvened at 8:30 p.m. before voting on payments.
The board approved the minutes of the previous month at the start of the meeting (Resolution #58). The next regular meeting is scheduled for August 12, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
