Nathan Boyd, Planning and Building Director, presented rezoning application #2604-0076 (Burroughs) for property commonly known as 1378 US-59 Hwy. The request would rezone approximately 3.94 acres from A-1 (Agricultural District) to R-3A (Single Family Residential Three Acre District) to allow a lot split and permit sale of the remaining approximately 44.09-acre tract. The Planning Commission recommended approval.
Commissioner Rod Harris moved and Commissioner Donald Stottlemire seconded adoption of Resolution 26-21 to approve the rezoning and amend the Official County Zoning Map. The motion passed with all commissioners voting yes.
