McClimans had proposed a reforestation plan and said he would work with neighbors to identify a mutually agreeable replacement. The Council approved the removal unanimously with two conditions: completion within six months and planting at least one replacement tree of a species approved by the Village Arborist and acceptable to affected neighbors.
