Trustee Tim Hopkins asked for a vacation calendar every two weeks that ties to payroll. Trustee Todd Reyling said trustees need the information they request because they are accountable to taxpayers. Trustee Jim Elbe said prior vacation-record problems would not recur. Todd Reyling pointed to credit‑card statements that listed “Annette” and asked that the records be updated to reflect accurate cardholders.
Trustee Jason Becherer asked when the village will begin taking credit‑card payments. Mayor Mike Smallwood said the village will accept card payments after it upgrades to Locis 8; Nicole from Locis told trustees the upgrade process takes a couple of months, according to the minutes.
No formal policy was adopted June 30; trustees requested staff provide the requested calendars and records and to follow up on the timing for the Locis upgrade.
