High Bridge council introduces four ordinances, approves consent agenda and bill list

The High Bridge Borough Council on Jan. 14 introduced four ordinances on first reading and approved a consent agenda of resolutions and the bill list.
Ordinances introduced on first reading (motions carried by roll call, six yes votes each) were: - Ordinance 2021-002: Chapter 184 — Parking (public hearing to be published and held Jan. 28, 2021). - Ordinance 2021-003: Additional funding for River Road water project (public hearing to be published; Feb. 11, 2021 hearing date announced). - Ordinance 2021-004: Amend golf fees and rates (public hearing to be published and held Jan. 28, 2021). - Ordinance 2021-005: LOSAP amendments (public hearing to be published and held Jan. 28, 2021).

A motion to approve the consent agenda passed on roll call (6 yes).
The council approved the bill payment list totaling $255,422.00 by roll call vote (6 yes). Earlier in the meeting the council moved to dispense with reading of prior minutes and then approved the Dec. 10, 2020 minutes (motion passed 4 yes, 2 abstentions — Moore and Schwartz) and the Jan. 4, 2021 minutes (6 yes).
All formal motions and votes recorded in the meeting were captured in roll call form in the minutes; the council adjourned and set the next meeting for Jan. 28, 2021.
