Lebanon Township’s Committee introduced the 2026 municipal budget at its March 11 meeting, presenting total general revenues and appropriations of $8,007,284.24 and scheduling a public hearing for April 8.
The budget documents filed with the resolution show $600,000 anticipated surplus, $3,758,036.24 in miscellaneous revenues, $300,000 expected receipts from delinquent taxes, and $3,349,248 in local property-tax revenue. Appropriations include $2,217,500 for salaries and wages, $3,393,493.24 for other operating expenses, $1,008,000 for capital improvements and a $650,000 reserve for delinquent taxes. The resolution sets an estimated municipal tax rate of $0.359.
Mayor Jay Wojcik read a prepared statement on budget preparation and the Committee adopted the resolution to introduce the budget; the public hearing will allow residents to comment on the proposed figures on April 8, 2026.
