The parks liaison said the cycling rest-area request lacked coordination and advised the organizers to return with proper paperwork. The Mid Maryland baseball camp needs the group to confirm field-care and other stipulations with GBAA before final approval.
The commission emphasized that standard paperwork (insurance forms and GBAA sign-off) is required for park uses that involve vendors, overnight stays or expanded services; staff will follow up with the parties and notify the commission when items are cleared.
