Trappe approves Main Street closure for Nace's Day parade on Nov. 2

Council members also approved requested use of Nace's Park, Veterans' Park and the open lot behind Veterans' Park for festival activities.
Freeman told the council the parade will step off at 1 p.m., with additional activities, including live music, continuing until 4 p.m. Sgt. Aita said the Sheriff's Office will coordinate street closures; Commissioner Jeremy Newnam said the fire department has barricades the event can use. The council voted unanimously to approve the closure and park use.
