Trappe extends snow-removal contract with P.E. Moore for two years

Trappe — The Trappe Town Council on Oct. 2 approved a two-year extension of its snow-removal contract with P.E. Moore.
Administrator Erin Braband said she contacted the Town’s current contractor at the council’s request and received a proposal to continue services at $4,200 per plow. The contractor offered either a one-year or two-year term at that price and the council voted to accept the two-year option.
Council members recorded the motion and second and the minutes show the vote was unanimous. Braband noted that the Town pays the contractor only when P.E. Moore is requested to plow.
