Town staff said money is budgeted for the town administrator but that overlap and severance for the previous administrator may require a small budget adjustment to cover the interim through June 30.
A motion to authorize the mayor to hire an interim town administrator passed on a roll-call vote after discussion; one council member abstained. The mayor said an introduction to the hired interim will be scheduled at a future meeting and staff will share terms and timing with council members once a selection is made.
