Human Resources Director Janell Schraufnagel presented two personnel appointments for the coming school year: Karly Heimke as a sixth-grade English language arts teacher for 2025-26 and Jodi Guenther as Special Education Coordinator, scheduled to begin July 1, 2025. Board member Bobbi Lemerond moved to approve the appointments; Board member Tim Renard seconded. The board voted Renard, McKinnies, Lemerond, Winslow, Musolff and Arens “aye,” and the motion carried.
The board also recorded and accepted three resignations: Angela Williamson Emmert, grade 8 (effective April 8, 2025); Michelle Mahkimetas-Kurkiewicz, 5th grade (effective June 2025); and Sydney Marohnic, Hillcrest special education teacher (effective June 2025). Board member Christine McKinnies moved to approve the resignations; Renard seconded. The board again voted unanimously to approve the action.
