She described the health office's role in the county's flood response, including vaccination clinics for affected residents and first responders, and stressed ongoing rural access challenges such as transportation and provider shortages.
Commissioners asked for clarification about a summary figure on vaccine-preventable illnesses described as "less than five"; Cabiness agreed to research the specific count and send a follow-up email. The court thanked public-health staff for pandemic- and emergency-response coordination and accepted the report by unanimous vote.
