The Washington Grove Historic Preservation Commission unanimously selected a recipient for its 2025 preservation award at a meeting held via Zoom on April 21, the commission’s minutes show.
Commission member Mimi Styles circulated a table with photographs of eight completed projects the commission had reviewed from 2024 through 2026 and led discussion of their merits. The minutes state that the three commissioners present—Bill Earl, David Stopak and Mimi Styles—reached a unanimous decision and that the award will be presented at the annual town meeting on May 9. The minutes do not identify the award recipient.
Styles told the commission she would inform Chair Bob Booher of the award decision. The minutes also note that projects not chosen for the 2025 award will remain under consideration for the 2026 award.
The commission’s next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom, where members may record or publicize the recipient following the town meeting presentation.
