Committee members discussed logistics for the prom and the silent auction, including soliciting donations and coordinating with the Garden Club for items for the auction. Michelle Gustison was assigned to confirm the Garden Club donation. The event location was confirmed as New Old Oak.
The committee also reviewed other event planning items during the meeting and noted that Larry Fisher is working with a food-truck company regarding use of Waterhouse field for the Sept. 26 block party.
The committee scheduled its next meeting for March 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Merrimac Police Department Conference Room. The meeting adjourned after routine closing business.
