Shell Lake council unanimously approves TID study, airport-aid petition and routine fiscal items

The Shell Lake City Council on March 10 approved a series of motions including a Phase 1 study to investigate a possible Tax Increment District (TID) #3, a resolution seeking airport improvement aid and several routine fiscal and planning items.
The council voted to approve Phase 1 of an MSA agreement to investigate a potential TID #3 at a cost of $6,000. Ken Schultz moved the measure and Mike Andrews seconded; a roll-call vote recorded seven yes votes and one council member absent, and the motion carried unanimously.
The council also approved Resolution #2-2025, a petition to the Secretary of Transportation for Airport Improvement Aid, and authorized the Agency Agreement and the Federal Block Grant Owner Assurances. Each motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
Members approved the Public Participation Plan for the City of Shell Lake Comprehensive Plan as presented by the Northwest Regional Planning Commission and authorized vouchers numbered 103–228.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 8:45 p.m. by Mike Andrews, seconded by Terry Severson; the motion carried and the meeting adjourned.
