Fire Chief Rob Rindell (speaker 10) said the program allows Richmond to both receive and provide mutual aid with neighboring departments in St. Clair County, Casco and Columbus townships and that the arrangement has worked well in practice.
Council member (speaker 3) moved to approve the amended agreement and to authorize the mayor to sign; the motion was supported and passed by voice vote. Staff indicated the update follows a recent county-level revision and that separate resolutions are required for different participating jurisdictions.
