The Village of Shiocton Board of Trustees appointed Robert Brownson to fill an open trustee seat during its Nov. 11, 2024 meeting.
Clerk Laurie Sweeney read letters from four residents who applied for the vacancy: Gary Bunnell, Angie Krug, Lori Bellile and Robert Brownson. Trustees were given an opportunity to ask questions; Trustee Tyler asked Brownson to explain how his job knowledge would benefit the Village.
The Board then held a roll-call vote. Trustee Dawes voted for Angie Krug; Trustee Gomm voted for Gary Bunnell; Trustee Tyler and Trustee Woods voted for Robert Brownson; Trustee Bunnell recused himself from the vote. Following the roll call, Robert Brownson was sworn in to the Board.
