Teacher Certification Appeals Council approves many appeals, denies some and grants extensions

The Teacher Certification Appeals Council convened at 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 26, 2026 to hear a lengthy slate of certification appeals. The meeting opened with roll call and the approval of minutes from the Oct. 23, 2025 meeting before the council briefly recessed for an executive session; the chair said that "No votes will be taken longer in executive session.
