The Town of Holland Plan Commission on Dec. 2 recommended that the Holland Town Board approve two separate minor land divisions.
For Tanner and Sarah Monahan (parcel 59006068461, zoned A‑2, W4037 County Road RR), the commission voted to recommend approval of a split to create approximately 5.00‑acre and 6.45‑acre parcels, contingent on receipt of a signed, recordable certified survey map containing required Town language, provision of full legal descriptions, and county approval and execution. The motion carried by roll call vote: Jack Stokdyk, Matthew Teunissen, Roy Teunissen, Brody Stapel, David Huenink and Bryan Kaiser voted yes; David Mueller voted no.
During the public hearing, neighbor Mark Huenink asked that an existing grass waterway that provides drainage through the parcel remain intact if a new house is built on the smaller lot. Applicant Sarah Monahan said that building a house on the proposed 5.00‑acre parcel would require a conditional use permit application and neighbor notification at that time.
For Rhonda Anderson (parcel 59006062852, zoned A‑5, N1838 County Road KW), the Plan Commission recommended approval to create parcels of 3.825 and 3.582 acres, contingent on county approval and execution of the certified survey map. That motion passed unanimously by roll call vote.
Both recommendations note that final approval by the Town Board and recording with Sheboygan County are required before the divisions take effect.
