Cecilton to emphasize resident responsibility for sidewalks as staff lack equipment; maintenance seeks new truck

Relatedly, Maintenance Supervisor Jackson described the limitations of the town's 2016 maintenance truck, which has a 5½-foot bed that limits hauling capability. Jackson said a properly outfitted "tool truck" would allow crews to carry job‑specific equipment and reduce back-and-forth trips to the shop. Administrator Cooper proposed retaining the current truck for runs to the Pearce Creek area while staff research new and used replacement options and consult the county roads department about sources.
