Williamson council awards botanical garden planting and irrigation contracts

After review, the council accepted Complete Land Management’s bid for grading, planting and pine-straw installation for $12,400 and accepted Wilson’s Landscapes’ bid to install irrigation for $13,600. The motions to accept both bids were made by Councilmember John Smithson and seconded by Councilmember Stephen Levin; both motions passed 5-0.
The actions taken direct contractors to perform the site work and irrigation installation; the minutes note Complete Land Management would re-install the disc golf baskets as part of its work. The minutes do not specify a contract start date, completion deadline, warranty terms or funding source for the two contracts.
