Cecilton water plants reported in compliance; new motor starters ordered and hydrants flushed

Town staff reviewed the Water Treatment/Water Supply report at the Nov. 18 meeting and said both plants were in complete compliance.
Jordan Smith and Heather Perry told the council that new motor starters have been ordered for Pumps #1 and #2 and that fire hydrant flushing around town was completed. The activity report from Deputy Walmsley noted that the Sheriff's Department will provide coverage for the community parade.
The council did not direct additional action on the water report during the meeting. The report indicates routine maintenance and compliance with applicable standards as of the presentation.
