Brunswick adopts downtown parking program; council rejects lower senior pass then approves $45 Silver Pass

Council Member Brian Sandusky then moved to approve Resolution 2026-05 as proposed, setting the Silver Pass fee at $45 for six months; Council Member John Caves seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
The Silver Pass was presented as an option for residents 65 and older to pay $45 for a six-month pass and avoid using the ParkMobile app. The council also agreed to refine permit areas and to designate Railroad Square spaces as part of the program.
