Slinger board approves increases to park rental fees; other procedural measures passed

The board approved a motion by Bob Stuettgen, seconded by Jeff Behrend, to raise the rental fee for Rotary Park from $100 to $150, raise the cost for Community and Rueckl parks with a field from $150 to $200, and to increase the non‑resident rental fee by $50. Director Tony Dobson had presented staff recommendations earlier in the meeting, telling the board that Breuer Park rentals would be set at $1,000 per day and that tournament rentals for Community and Rueckl had been discussed at $500 per day.
Dobson said staff proposed changing the non‑village resident surcharge from $50 to $100; after board discussion the motion that passed increased the non‑resident surcharge by $50. The motion passed by voice vote; the minutes do not record a roll-call tally.
