Administration characterized this action as an annual timing step tied to the reduction-in-force notification cycle; the board noted a strong local practice of rehiring many staff when enrollment dictates.
Health/life-safety surveys and construction consent: The board approved the district's 10-year health/life-safety surveys prepared by White and Company for submission to the Illinois State Board of Education and approved the construction consent agenda, including a bid for the Kingsley roof repair.
