At its April 13 meeting the Village Board approved several routine administrative items and heard departmental updates.
Trustees approved the meeting agenda, the March 9, 2026 minutes and the monthly voucher report by unanimous motions. The board also approved a snow removal bid proposal format for posting and renewed three chicken licenses for properties at 303 W Willow, 203 Clark and 301 Clark Street. Trustee Mike Young moved and Trustee Chuck Jablonski seconded approval for the clerk, Ashley Janke, to become a Notary Public with the bank closing in town. Trustees also approved a Memorial Day luncheon to be held in the Fire Hall after the parade.
Village President Dan Miller announced committee reassignments: Miller (Streets), Chuck Jablonski (Parks), Alissa Thebo (Ambulance), Mike Young (Water/Sewer), Dominic Shaw (Fire Department) and Judy Jahnke (Health & Safety). In committee reports, Dan Miller said the hole on James Street was filled by the county and damaged signs around town were replaced; Chuck Jablonski reported park cleanup after the ice storm. Alissa Thebo said the ambulance will use an employment agency to assist hiring, that Clintonville will temporarily provide services for Tigerton, and that Clintonville hopes to be on the list for a new rig in late 2027 to early 2028. Dan Miller reported that well pumphouse 3 had roof damage; G Force made repairs and a new gutter is pending, and Clerk/Treasurer Ashley Janke checked security cameras and saw no activity related to the damage. Fire Chief Norder gave a brief update that the recent fire audit occurred and noted hours worked during the ice storm.
No public comment was offered. The board scheduled its next regular meeting for May 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned.
