Bolton IWC delegates review of Bolton High School cold-storage foundation to wetlands agent

The Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission voted unanimously to delegate review of a municipal project at Bolton High School that will remove an existing foundation and install a new 36-by-24-foot outbuilding for garage/cold-storage use.
Wetlands Agent Alyssa Barroso described the project and noted delineated wetlands nearby; applicant representative Steve Saucier explained the existing foundation will be demolished, the new foundation constructed, and excavated material will be trucked off site. Chair Ross Lally requested a simple outline of the new building footprint for the record.
Member Michael McDonnell moved to delegate the application (IW25-9) to the Wetlands Agent so she may work with the applicant on erosion and sediment controls and meet the applicant on site; Vice Chair James Loersch seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0-0.
The delegation permits the Wetlands Agent to review erosion-control details and site plans and to act administratively within the scope authorized by the commission; the agent will report back as required by commission procedures.
