The Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission unanimously approved an application for a single-family home at 61 Vernon Road, finding no proposed disturbance of regulated wetlands and accepting erosion- and sediment-control measures for 0.18 acres of upland review-area disturbance. Wetlands Agent Alyssa Barroso told the panel the plan includes measures intended to protect Bolton Lake and adjacent properties from construction-related sedimentation.
Vice Chair James Loersch moved to approve IW-25-7 ‘‘61 Vernon Rd’’ according to the plan on record and with erosion and sediment controls performed per state requirements; Member Diane DeNunzio seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0-0.
Chair Ross Lally said the commission, after further review since the previous meeting, could act on the application. The approval requires the applicant to implement the recorded erosion-control practices; the Wetlands Agent will monitor compliance as part of normal permitting oversight.
The commission took no public comment on the matter. The panel adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
