Boaz trustees approve rental policy, financial reports and spring clean-up plans

The Village of Boaz Board of Trustees on Feb. 11, 2026 approved a package of routine measures and set logistics for a community clean-up.
Trustee Kathy Hansen moved to approve the Boaz Community Building Rental policy; Trustee Judy Adrian seconded the motion and it was carried. Clerk/Treasurer Kaela Townsend presented the January financial reports for the Sewer Utility and General accounts; Trustee Hansen moved to approve the financial reports, seconded by Trustee Adrian, and the motion carried. Trustee Hansen also moved and Trustee Adrian seconded approval of payment of bills; that motion carried as well. Trustee Judy Adrian moved, and Trustee Kathy Hansen seconded, approval of the 2025 Compliance Maintenance Annual Report for the Boaz Sewer Utility; the motion carried.
The board ordered dumpsters from L&M Salvage and Republic Services for the Spring Clean-up and encouraged residents to contact Ken Nicks if hauling assistance is needed; the Clerk/Treasurer will ask Village Maintenance to assist that day. The board confirmed its next regular meeting for March 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Boaz Community Building with phone conference capability. The meeting was adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
