The Village of Boyceville’s Library Director presented year‑end and December statistics to the board, noting growth in in‑person attendance and program participation even as overall circulation was slightly down from 2024.
According to the Library Director, December 2025 circulation activity included 1,226 total transactions — with 800 checkouts, 972 check‑ins, 426 renewals — plus 89 new items processed and one new patron registered in the month. Programming in December included a Storytime session (14 attendees), a monthly scavenger hunt (40 children), teen coffee time (10 attendees), and a family movie day (17 attendees).
For calendar year 2025 the director said total library attendance increased to 10,094 (from 9,882 in 2024) and program attendance rose to 2,245 (from 1,994). The library hosted 97 programs during the year and expanded its collection by more than 840 items, including books, movies, video games, magazines and audiobooks. Library staff also noted July as the strongest month for circulation (1,873 transactions) and that June and October each produced 17 new patron signups.
The board received the report; no formal action was recorded. The director’s figures will be included in year‑end financial and audit materials.
